The working principle of counterflow plate heat exchangers is very simple. In the counterflow heat exchanger core, airflows pass alongside each other through parallel aluminum plates in a counterflow direction. This design enables higher temperature efficiency compared to a crossflow heat exchanger core. Two adjacent aluminum plates form separate channels for fresh air and exhaust air streams. Heat is transferred as the air streams operate partially in crossflow and partially in counterflow within the channels, while the fresh and exhaust airflows remain completely separated.
Our products are designed for energy recovery, enabling users to save up to 90% of energy. Therefore, our equipment can be used in domestic, commercial, and public heat recovery systems. All products comply with European Union legislation aimed at reducing energy consumption in buildings, as well as with Ecodesign requirements.
